November 4, 2022 – Dataspeed is joining Advanced Vehicle Technology Competitions (AVTCs) as a Supporter-level sponsor and will provide each EcoCAR team with an intelligent Power Distribution System (iPDS), a flexible and easy-to-use solution for powering instrumentation, computers, and sensors of a test vehicle. The system is designed with commonly used communication interfaces to support drive-by-wire autonomous vehicle research, advanced driver assistance systems experimentation, and any automotive electronics testing.

November 2, 2022 – Within the framework of the launch of the Artificial Intelligence Engineering career and the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Laboratory, the University of San Andrés unveiled the first full – sized autonomous vehicle in Latin America, a project that aims to bet on the development of the artificial intelligence within the university and contribute to the advancement of new technologies in Argentina.

UM-Dearborn is getting a really cool new autonomous research vehicle
September 28, 2022 – Driverless vehicle research on campus is about to get a big boost thanks to a new National Science Foundation grant. According to the grant summary, a team of five faculty have been approved to “acquire an Autonomous Plug-In Hybrid Vehicle research platform to support collaborative and multidisciplinary research and education activities in several areas, including embodied cognitive vehicle, in-vehicular network security, energy consumption, environmental perception, cybersecurity, and driver behavior analyses in electric and advanced mobilities.”
